Accessibility Statement

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. That includes visitors who use assistive technologies (such as screen readers), keyboard-only navigation, or who need clear focus indicators and readable content.

What we’ve done

We have reviewed the custom theme code and made improvements aimed at better keyboard access and clearer behaviour for the “Skip to Content” link, landmark structure, carousel controls, and consistent visible focus for many links and buttons. We have also added proper styling for visually hidden text used for screen readers, where it was missing from the theme stylesheet.

Limitations

This site uses third-party tools and plugins (for example forms, e-commerce, maps, and embedded media). We have not claimed full compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA for the entire site, because accessibility depends on content choices, plugin behaviour, and testing with real users and assistive technologies.

Some areas—such as colour contrast on every text and background combination, form error handling, and complex interactive widgets—should be checked in the browser and, where needed, adjusted with design input.

Ongoing commitment

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We intend to continue improving the site, fix issues as we find them, and consider feedback from users. If you have difficulty using any part of the site, please contact us and we will try to help or provide information in another format where we can.
